We are a small, independent company. Based in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, we take our watchmaking very seriously. Our watches don’t try to impress anyone with status or big logos.
People choose them because they like the design, the build, and the feeling of wearing something made with care and passion.
We produce in small batches, not mass production. When a model sells out, it might be a while before we make another run. This keeps us close to the process and lets us maintain the quality we want. Nothing rushed. Nothing superficial.
Our watches are shaped by the place we come from. Copenhagen. Clean lines. A calm approach. Function first. A bit of saltwater in the blood. And the idea that good design should be simple, reliable, and made to be used.
Nautage exists because people like you choose to support a small independent brand. It still feels personal to us. It will always feel personal. And we are grateful for everyone who joins the journey, whether you buy a watch or simply follow along.
The name Nautage comes from two simple ideas. Astronaut, which represents exploration and curiosity. And age, which represents time. Combined, Nautage is our way of expressing the idea of exploring time and design with the same curiosity you bring to new frontiers.
As brothers we shared many things growing up, and we often found ourselves talking about design, watches, and entrepreneurship. Nautage naturally grew out of that.
Back in 2019 we finally started sketching the first ideas. We had no investors, no background in the watch industry, and no guarantee that anyone would care. What we did have was curiosity, stubbornness, and a belief that we could make something honest and functional. Something better and that added real value to the already crowded market. Something we would wear ourselves and be proud of.
We learned everything step by step. We visited small workshops, asked endless questions, and slowly found partners who could match the level of quality we were looking for. When the first prototypes arrived, we spent weeks testing, adjusting, and improving every detail until it felt right.
Nautage grew quietly. People found us through Instagram, Reddit, and word of mouth. Not because of loud marketing, but because someone saw a watch that spoke to them and shared it with a friend. That kind of support means everything to a microbrand like ours.
